On July 3rd you said this: Hi steve, You ask a difficult function. First I need to control my heating control because there is some problem, but after that I'll take a look at this. Jerome I was asking if you had fixed the problem. It seems based on Luke's and others comments that in the cutting wiz...
Jerome,
Have you fixed the problems with the heat control?
Luke,
Did you see the same error in the shapes if you use the default cutting wizard offsets of 10mm? You said the error got worse as the offset increased and I wasn't sure if you had tried with a really small offset.
Steve
I converted a dxf file from Profili using DevConv from the link I posted above. However when I import the converted file into Jedicut I get this. Is this going to be a problem when I go to cut? It looks the same when I save the dxf file in Jedicut to a .jdp file and then open that file to do a Wing ...

If the wing I'm going to cut has a different airfoil shape at the tip than the shape at the root will Jedicut accurately reproduce both shapes? The reason I ask is in the other thread that I started the cutting wizard seems to not be able to accurately cut two different shapes between the tip and ro...
Jerome, Now that the heat control is finished are you going work on the cutting wizard? Luke's problem about trying to cut two different shapes square at one side and a circle at the other side and then Jedicut cutting a shape that is neither a square nor a circle. Steve Also I was playing with the ...
I noticed that when you save an airfoil as a .dxf from Profili (unregistered) that Jedicut will not be able to import the file. I was trying to find a program to convert from .dxf to .dat and ran across an old post on RCGroups about such a program from the writer of Foamworks/Cadworks. So I download...

Jerome,
Any news on the cut wizard? Have you finished working on the heat control for the MM2001 board?
Steve
Also I'm not trying to cut out a ring this will be a solid oval. Think of it like a tapered wing with a very short (1/2 inch) wingspan.
Steve
Jerome, Here is a picture of what I am talking about. I plan to cut these shapes out of 1/2" thick foam. The ovals will vary in size from only a couple of inches to maybe 8 inches in height. The difference in size of the ovals will be much smaller and the distance between my towers will be arou...
