Cycle of cut manager

#1
Everything is going very well but I can not force Jedicut to step at "fast" speed when returning the X-axis to the start point to begin the second (bottom) cut of the airfoil. I tick the "Fast" radio-button but it still moves at cut-speed which means the whole process is very very slow.

Is this a problem with the software or am I just missing something (again)?

Thanks

Hello,

I have a couple of questions about the Cycle of cut manager:

Could anybody please explain me:

- what does "Lissage" (under Propriétés) mean?

- what is the difference between "Neutre", "Comptabilisé" and " RAZ Compteur" (under Type)?

- Vittese: No matter what I mark ("Decoupé" or "Rapide"), the speed of the auxiliar momements is always adjusted to "cut speed". Why?

- Temperature control: The selection of Vittese (Decoupé or Rapide) has influence on the temperature. If "Rapide is selected", the temperature will be adjusted to almost 100 %; although in the table Options - Heating the C2 (for V2) is set on 31% in my case.
The wire is really overheated in this moment. Could I avoid it in some way?

Regards,

Jan

Hello,

It's difficult to explain "Lissage". You sould try ;)
Check "Lissage", step are send like this : X1, X2, X1, X2...
Uncheck "Lissage", step are send by peer like [X1+X2], [X1+X2]...

do you understand ?

"Neutre" : Jedicut don't count step.
"Comptabilisé" : Jedicut count step (+1 or -1 depending on direction of the movement)
"RAZ" : Jedicut do the exact opposite of counted steps. If Jedicut count 250step on X1, X1 will do 250 steps in the opposite direction.

I don't understand the question... You can only use cut speed whatever you check ?

You the first to explain the problem with wire heating in "Rapide" speed. I will take a look at this problem.

Hi Jerome,

Thank you for the explanation.

"Lissage" ... it is clear now

"Vittese" and "Temperature control" ... it is also clear. I have used before "without lissage" setting, so the movement was quicklier and the temperature was set correctly correspondig to the real speed.

But I still do not understand this:

"Neutre" : Jedicut don't count step.
"Comptabilisé" : Jedicut count step (+1 or -1 depending on direction of the movement)
"RAZ" : Jedicut do the exact opposite of counted steps. If Jedicut count 250step on X1, X1 will do 250 steps in the opposite direction.

Could you explain me it once more time? Thank you in advance.

Regards

Hello,

In the cycle of cut, you can ask a 10mm horizontal movement with "Comptabilisé" checked, and another horizontal movement no matter the distance but with RAZ checked.

Start cutting. Jedicut send orders to do a movement of 10 mm, and keep in memories all steps it did on X motors. When it have to do the horizontal movement with RAZ checked, Jedicut look at counters in memories. Jedicut find steppers representing 10mm, so Jedicut do the same distance but in the opposite direction. X counters return to 0.

It's the only way to Jedicut to know every time where the hot wire is.

If you check "Neutre", Jedicut do the movement, but don't increase or decrease the counters.

Do you understand ?
Jerome
