No heat pin sensing

I am using jedicut with a hobbycnc 2004 board under xp using visualcnc xp dll but jedicut is not reading the heat pin or controling the heat, have tried the dynamic heat option but no readings.Thankyou for a great program but auto heat control would be useful.
