Re: How to get profiles,.dat file extentions to cut
14Hi,
You don't need profile for your sample of cutting, because it's just an horizontal movement. What don't you understand ? What do you want to cut ?
I'm sorry but I can't answer to your question about "Cut prewiew" bug without more details (what cutting project, what profiles...).
In your Jedicut directory, you can see a Profils directory. It contain some example of dat files.

Re: How to get profiles,.dat file extentions to cut
16Hi,
To do this, try to configure a profile with that coordinates :
0 0
600 0
600 6.5
0 6.5
0 13
600 13
600 19.5
0 19.5
...
Do you understand ?

Re: How to get profiles,.dat file extentions to cut
18IT WORKED!!! yea.
Thank you Jerome!!!
I kept tring to say -600mm ,Jedicut did not like it very much, now I understand.
Still had an issue but was able to work around it..
I tried check symetrical, without loading the file in the WING tip area, which resulted in a "can't calculate points" error, once I loaded the same file in the wing tip, it worked
.
In the percent window in the wing tip area(usually at 100%) the 1 is covered by a grey box/block.
do not know why??
Once agian Jerome, thank you!
its 11:09 PM and its still daylight

19Woooow !! It's cool
I will test the problem you enconter with "symetrical" check box. To answer to your question, when you check symetrical, you indicate to Jedicut that your wing tip profile and all other caracteristics of the wing tip are identical to wing root profile.
Good night :p
