Hello Everyone,

What has everyone found to be the best wire size (diameter) for foam cutting. I have been using 1mm, but I notice that smaller diameters are available. My guess is that the smaller the diameter the better, but there will be a point at which it is not practical or flex?

Hi, Luke!
I am using 0,3 mm (dia) NiChrome steel wire ( for springs), and the results are good. This wire has about 14 Ohm/m, so, for the right temperature You need about 24 V/m.
