Hi guys,
Board: MM2001, built per GMFC building tips for this board
Board is set at 4KHz, and JeditCut is set for extrernal timer at same freq.
OS: WinXP, JediCut v. 2.3.2.
Nb mm /pas: 0,005 (steppermotors are 200 steps/rev, 1.8 deg/step and the threading is 1mm/rev)
Cut speed: 4
Fast: 1
Inverse selected.
Under manual control We have movement in proper directions, but are limited to approx 7 mm!
If we stick to values below 7 mm, movement is the right distance. But if we indicate more than 7 mm, movement is only 7mm.
Sometimes movement is completely arbitrary below 7 mm.
CPU load is excessive and 100% CPU always when a cut is ordered and the progress bar is displayed.
Does anyone know what is wrong? We have read the help file, and what we could find in the forum.
GMFC-PE and -Pro work completely without hickups. Everything works fine.
Any ideas - anyone?
Re: Movement limited to 7mm pr cut in either direction

And often we only have movement every second time we try to cut/move.

3"Cut speed: 4 Fast: 1"
I think, the speed is to high, the stepper lost steps.
You can test it with larger parameter "Cut speed: 30 Fast: 20"
